They do.
But as I've seen from *BOTH* democrats and republicans, there's far more of
an urge to give a misbehaving congressman a slap on the wrist, if even
that.

Dennis Hastert covered up Mark Foley's perversions for years.

Dan Rostenkowsi and John Murtha's shenanigans were covered up for too.
