Actually what I think he was referring to (and feel free to correct me if I'm 
wrong) is that DAN had approved the computer you were discussing as 
acceptable for those willing to participate in their goal of collecting 1 
million dive profiles for experimental purposes.  DAN can give you more 
details if you have not heard of the program.
