Hmmph. My experience with RadioShack has been mixed overall. The local one
(2.5 miles from the house) employs a bunch of dimwits, so I buy things there
only when I know EXACTLY what I want. If I have questions, I go across
town, approx. 14 miles, to a Shack where the people actually know what they
are talking about and treat me right. It's well worth the trip when I have
questions! This is where I got my catalog. By the way, the new RadioShack
circular I received yesterday says the following about getting a new
catalog - bring in the flier and they'll give you a free one. Maybe if
you just went in and asked for one they'd give it to you.

This from the same people who tried to charge me $7 for a local freq list
full of mistakes. Go figure!

Which scanner did you buy?
