| subject: | Maximus for Unix/Linux still supported |
Welcome back..... The code is still there. There has been the rare ocational fix, so an item or two I think has been fixed while you have been gone. Unfortunately, while I'm under a contract I started a bit ago, I'm not working on the Maximus code -- to keep copyright issues clean. Bo has made an update or two. Once certain items are handled and time elapsed, I'll probably take another look at the code to see where we are at..... If you can contribute changes, and need access to source forge archives, let me know. Bob Jones, 1:343/41 MMD> I have finally returned to getting Planet Maca's back MMD> online. I would like to know if there is still MMD> development going on with the Maximus for Linux? BBS MMD> works fine under Linux but I am looking to keep it MMD> updated as well as watching how the development is progressing. MMD> I am pretty much still stock. I haven't had time to get it fancy MMD> yet. I rember MEX had problems with Linux before. MMD> Seems the very latest CVS updates from sourceforge MMD> fixed most of the problems. got 4 nodes running now. MMD> Soon to hope to add my dialup node. Might want to run MMD> maximus "barefoot" that is have it answer the phone MMD> instead of binkleyterm while I debug my scripts. How MMD> well has the dialup support been tested?
