That usually comes if a user is connected through windows file sharing when
you go to shut down- if you're on NT/2k you should check your File Sharing
For Microsoft networks is not bound to your external network adapter (only
your internal LAN adapter) or on 95/98/ME check that its not bound to a
protocol that's bound to an external adapter- otherwise your sharing your
file system with whoever bothers to look.
