Yeah butr the comparative lack of trojans & viruses makes for some happy users.
My mother was moved (by me) to mandrake coz win98 was simply acting as a
virus/troj/sploit magnet.
She has been free of such things since & w/o any doubt it's the major
advatage over windows IHO. I'd moved her onto OO & Moz on win98 before
the move so she was used to her main apps already.
I have had one semi-support call since & that wasn't linux (turned out
she'd pulled the power supply out of the scanner).
I was having to mess about everytime I visited & pay flying visits to
try & get her back onto the net (predominantly for email).
