We turned on Github's AI programming assistant for software development in my
company for a while. It was worse than useless. Only about a 10% success rate
- with the other 90% adding more work to remove what it put in my code.
But that's what it is today and it will probably get better. We'll see.
AIs work best with a very constrained subject. So an AI that is good at
playing chess will be awful at making stock trading decisions.

Again, probably. It's expensive to run an AI. That will create a market
demand for something that uses less power. Maybe a dedicated CPU design.
If the Elitists will stay out of the way, the market will either make it
happen, or prove that it cannot.
... I still miss my ex-wife - but my aim is improving!
