Actually, I think the BW FORMAT is pretty much y2k ok (I'm not sure if
it is compliant, but compliance is something that can always be argued over
anyway), but I think it is the READER that is NOT y2k compatible.
The BW format is much better than QWK (is QWK y2k compliant?) and the
specs to the BW format are available, so if it is not y2k compliant, why
not just patch it (and call it BW2000 or something) and have some of the
reader authors, who are still working on their apps, add support for it.
