Why now? As far as I can see, Iraq is much weaker now than at any time in
the past ten years. I found Colin Powell's "evidence" totally
unconvincing. We should stop the sanctions, and give the people of Iraq a
chance. Revolution never happens when the people are at the bottom. When
things begin to improve, the regime will become intolerable.
In any case, unless there is a clear threat to world peace, what happens in
Iraq is a mater for Iraqis.
