The short answer is that you add a message area to your bbs as an FTN
networkable area and then try to get others (like your hub) to carry it by
advertising it. IIRC, there is an echo ads echo that you can advertise
them in.
There is the ELIST that you can get it listed on, that might make it a
little easier to get people to pick it up (although I am not too sure it
does make it easier). I would ask about the details of how to get listed
in the ELIST echo. The one thing that listing it in the ELIST can do is
keep others from claiming it is their echo and not yours.
The way I did it with nearly all the echoes I moderate, like this one, was
that someone else asked me if I wanted to take an existing echo over.
