I talk about soft-CR (ASCII 8Dh), not about CR (ASCII 0Dh). Some editors
use soft-CRs for line reflow. The problem is that ASCII 0Dh is a Russian H
(which is equivalent to latin N). So, when a Russian uses 0Dh in his
message, the letter will be stripped by some old tossers/editors as a
"soft-CR". If a Westerner uses a soft-CR, a Russian reader will
see a lot of Russian letter H in the very first position of the every line,
just like I see in Carol's messages :)

        Best wishes,
                     Mix.
