Was the SU "evil" as a country/system or is any country which
threatens the USA "evil"?

i.e. there are many regimes (e.g. Burmese) which are arguably just as
"evil" as any you've mentioned but aren't a threat & thus
aren't (it would seem) "evil". I.e. there is no real
"morality" at work simply threat & fear.
