That also sometimes works if you can set 'custom' paper size, and
select 8.5 x 11 pages.  I used to have to do that all the time
to "fool" my Canon BJ-200 into printing the bottom portion of the page.
Of course, if the printer has reached it's maximum printable area,
that's NOT going to work!
