As I understand it, the EON is memory limited.  If you adjust the sampling 
rate, the number of recordable dives decrease.  As the sampling rate 
increases, fewer dive minutes, and thus fewer dives can be recorded.  I don't 
think from the docs I read it was dive number count limited, only dive 
minutes determined by sampling rate.
