subject: Maximus for Unix/Linux still supported

Well as far as Oracle goes I may have been think of something else. Still I
would like to try to use it for browsing the many .mec files I found on the
internet for maximus. Found lots .mex files as well but I still cannot seem
to find a check for new mail .mex file. Had similar problems long ago with
Opus 1.73a under msdos too. Of course Opus did not have a programming
langage built into the software.

Seems that when I was running Opus there was a few 3rd party .exe programs
to do just that. Of course under Linux running 3rd party .exe files is
problematic unless you can figure how to use dosemu to tie them into a
linux bbs software package.

does anyone have a lead on a .mex check your mail applet? would like to
give the users the ability to get their mail before they get lost in the
many echos I am configuring up.

Perhaps I should also try to again give oracle another compile. If I can
the that .ltf file moved to where it is needed it might work.
