But that didn't happen overnight.  It happened over the course of many decades.
 These people are masters at chipping away at things (like our rights).  Each
individual chip is not significant, but they add up over time.

Look back over the decades at the people who spoke out about this chipping away
at things.  They spoke of the "slippery slope" and they were called "loonies". 
Yet they were right.
