Eventually Lotus gave up after it was due to go to the supremes as the
appeals people had overthrown the earlier judgement. i.e. the appeals came
donw in favour of borland (or more strictly in terms of what could
& couldn't be copyrighted).

But the bigger one for this was MS vs Apple.....which is where Xerox &
Parc came in.
