Darn right!

Usually one circuit is good from the lowest freq you want to go
to, up to about 30MHz by switching coils and caps, but above that
the lead lengths become critical and you have to design a new
circuit for each band.

Yes, I think a range of about 3:1 for each band is the limit for
all practical purposes.
