I was unable to get the trap error information, but have re-tried the
process of installing the fixpak again (7th time). I copied the information
down while I was on another computer/system so that I would be able to save
the
information. This is what little information it gave me.

trap error on comp-bbs is following:
---------------------------------------------------
TRAP 000d ERRCD=ff00 ERACC=**** ERLIM=*******
--[ 5 or 6 lines, all entries where "=********" type entries ]--

system detected an internal processing error at

I have a copy of the TRAP-ERROR code information, but don't know what
needs to be fixed to change the problem.

A trap 000D is caused (but not limited to) when a program references storag
outside the limit of the memory segment, references a storage segment that
restricted to privileged code, references storage with a selector value of
zero, writing read-only memory or code segment, reading from an execute-onl
code segment or loading an invalid value into a selector register. [SYS1943

I tryed the trap dump log file for information. Nothing in regards to
appling the fixpak was reported. The file was empty. Nothing recorded.

I will try using ALT-F2 on bootup and see what it shows.

Thanks for the replies. They have helped.
