Yes it is. Why do terrorist groups exist? & if they don't get their way
but the people decide they don't want them around any more? Terrorism is by
definition political.
Being "not defeated" is why the IRA is taking so long to disarm
but once they have & they're gone then they're gone but the British are
still in NI, the Southern Irish State is not Socalist/Communist & there
are still 2 states in the island of Ireland.

Yup. We British are & have been evil bast*rds but we fight to win the
war not the just the battle. If that means being nice to the locals then so
