SE-> The current usually runs between 1-2 knots, so the divers really
SE-> need to have some experience in high current situatiuons. The wreck
SE-> sits in 120 FSW and most operators will only let you explore the
SE-> decks above the main deck which sits in 100 FSW.
That's a pretty stiff current but just about what I was told to expect.
Interesting that they will only let you explore down to 100 feet. What is
he
deepest part of the wreck? I can kind of understand the limit for beginners
but anyone with Advanced should be able to handle it.
SE-> This is one of the nicest times of the year to dive South Florida
SE-> because the boats aren't crowded and the viz is usually stellar.
SE-> I spent Saturday in the water and brought home lots and lots of
SE-> lobsters. :)
Seems like every time I come down in the off-season the operators have a hard
time filling the boat and I usually get blown off. I've been down at Xmas
ut
don't like coming down between Xmas and Spring because of this reason.
I like the part about the lobster, I could just about live on it. Shit, I
need
to get down there.
