Hi Julia!
-=> Quoting Julia Sidebottom to Penny Powers <=-
Gosh, it's great to be back here and see a message from you! 8-)
JS> again... no energy... seems I am fighting an infections...and
JS> antibotics that I started yesterday seem to be doing the trick already
JS> as I am feeling much better.... my breathing is better and the pain in
JS> my back is almost gone... and I am definitly staying awake
JS> more than 20 minutes at a time!
That's encouraging news--I know because I'm getting rid of a
UTI myself and I can now go at least 30 minutes without having
to traipse to the bathroom!
awake>... I was looking at some of my machine quilting today as I was
JS> working on this quilt and I was saying to myself, "well, it may not be
JS> perfect, or even close to good, but it is mine and for that reason
JS> alone I "like" it!!!" It doesn't matter to me if it is not perfect!
I tell people that if I did things perfectly, no one would ever
believe *I* did it!
JS> keep trying to improve my skills, of course, and am as I go... but I
JS> will never be one that can enter my quilts in contest ... but I will always have fun quilting no matter what!!!
Julia, I think that's the most important part. And the contests you
would win would be for your enthusiasm for quilting and your ability
to produce a warm, cuddly, beautiful quilt in a very short time.
Nowadays that is a talent not to be taken lightly! It must prove to
be very valuable to you.
I gotta go read some more mail. I'm like a chocoholic who's had the
stomach flu...I wanna scarf up some mail! It's been 4 months since I
had any Fidonet.
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
... I'd be clothed and in my right mind if I could find either.
