When I was in Grand Cayman this past year, the maximum depth allowed (by law)
was 100 feet.
I suspect they are doing this for several reasons. First, they don't want
the Islands to get a rep for a high injury (bad for tourism), and secondly,
the incident rate of nitrogen narcosis is very rare at depths shallower than
100 feet under their profiles.
