I guess, but for those of us who aren't historians there's
no reason for the excess clutter .  GLad some folks do,
such as fidonews from the old days when there was actually
some content .

Music's an entirely different thing.  HEck, I was known to
save safety copies of mixdown sessions in my studio, and the midi files
which were the automation for them for a long
time, in case the client came back later and wanted to do
something different, or the mastering folks had a glitch
.

NEver had one of those, but I had a standalone midi
sequencer that used those data cassettes.  RIght before
Katrina I was going through some old boxes of junk and still found those
data cassettes with those tones on them .

STill, the consistent naming convention helps, along with
the shorter description lines I've seen in last couple.
Makes the whole purge process easier .
