Yes, I read about that .. it made me sick to read it.  My niece has a pit
bull breed (not sure which one.. she told me once, but now I've forgotten)
and this dog is the gentlest dog I've seen.  She's a real sweetheart..
luckily they live far from Colorado :)  They're in Los Angeles.

That is absolutely sad to hear.  I guess they expect people will just avoid
that dog's territory?  and hope newcomers aren't surprised?
