Y'ello All!
What's the story with you lot in 'ere? I'm a BIG cpp fan. :) Been using it
for nigh on three years, and I think it's fab.
Further, I think Java is for women^H^H^H^H^H lazy people. ;) In the middle
of
a Java project just now and although you get everything for free I just feel
there was more fun developing your own dynamic array classes etc., and
esides
you could build in your own functionality. You understood how the wretch
worked
at least.
The last assessment we did at uni was a client-server application "suite"
and I got to fiddle with abstract classes (been dying to see if I
ould
use them in some practical way). It was a spreadsheet application, so the
abstract class was a Cell, and from that I produced StringCell, IntCell,
FloatCell...
I dunno what you talk about in this echo so I just thought I would launch in
full force with some youthful enthusiasm. :)
// An observation about what C++ means to some lecturers...
#include
int main(void)
{
cout << "This is C++ just because I'm using " <<
"cout and not printf..." << endl << flush ;
return 1 ;
}
