Dan,
Check the serial numbers of both rigs.  If they don't end in the same 
letter, that could be the reason.  I think both of mine are "B"
on the end. 
Drake matched the crystals somewhat and put the letters there to tell which 
"color" crystal is in the rig.  However, over the years, these have been 
changed, but the color dot is usually seen on the crystal.  Hope that helps!
