I had a short email conversation with RA's developer a few months 
back, at the time, I asked him what his plans where for it & if he 
abandoned it, he said no.

Although RA was the best in it's time (overtaking QuickBBS), it has 
fallen WAY behind & would have a lot of catching up to the likes of Ele 
& Synchro (which in turn has a bit of catching up to do with Ele (for eg, 
web interface)). Best thing would be for RA to be released as open 
source.
