whilst i'll concede that Maximus is great, but not perfect i suggest that
we'd all be better off consulting Scott Dudley :)
those inconveniences that you've mentioned with the inability to tag files
from any area and flagging fileareas for "list only" is something that needs
sorting out... but i do know that its possible to globally download files via
the "File_Download" spec in menus.ctl. so why don't you try implicating this
