I've done that before with older versions of Client 32 but found
if the install aborts you may end up with no client at all. Now
I just copy the whole package to the client so I always have access.
The new Intranetware client seems more reliable on installs.
Our workstations also have a combination of server installs and
local installs (10-15 programs) so it is easier to clone the whole
thing rather than use the built-in OSR2.
I believe the original problem came from using Netware's Uninstall
for Intranetware on older versions of the client. It would abort
but give the appearance that the client was gone. I'm pretty sure
the registry was corrupted at that point and further installs did
not fix it. Fresh installs of the Intranetware client with the
ODI suppliment seem to be working well.
