I had been using computers for years, mostly at university, but had also built
my first XT clone not long before. It was BBSing and networking that got my
interest back in computers after it had waned. I long had an interest in
communication (long story!), initially, the easier side - technology, but
broadening as I get older into how people actually communicate.
