Hi Ron.  In order to answer your question I need to know
some more about the type of diving you'll be doing.  If
you are an occassional diver that dives locally in the
lakes and reservoirs as well as some trips to the Caribbean,
then I'd recommend one of the "hockey puck" style of dive
computers that fits into your console boot.  Several
different styles on the market from folks like Oceanic,
Sherwood, US Divers with prices around $300.
If you do a lot of mixed gas diving, or high altitude diving,
or you want to see your tank air pressure on the same guage with
your dive profile, then I'd recommend something more sophisticated.
