Just wanted to post a message to you Amber and so that Martin can read
this as well. My daughter 16 years ago was diagnosed being
Hyperactive with ADD. To set the record correct here. Most children
with Hyperactive grow out of it by puberty or some as old as 17. ADD
on the other hand is something that these children will NEVER out
grow. As explained to me by the Neurologist who treated my child for
three years in North Carolina and specialized in ADD he explained it
like this.
Your bran is made up of millions of little wires running through out
your brain. The child with ADD has a short some were in these wires
therefore it's there...it's not going away and has nothing to do with
the brain "catching up".
People need to get there information from correct sources before
making a statement like this.
