 Yep and that's where I got it from. Definitely a good read and I don't
think it's the least bit insulting? Just Observant and Objective.

It's interesting how it tells up until the 19th C, people generally
DID NOT take their holy books literally. Fundie brain ness is
relatively new.. hmm. Or maybe not so new but not as vocal as it is
now. Fundie brains of yore most likely got laughed at and or put away
in the funny farm if they got vocal. Today they make megabucks because
so many folks are willing to PAY not for a 'lesson' but for the
entertainment.

 Nod. It's kinda brainscreamingly insane too and I doubt the folks who
wrote those long ago works even imagined their words wood have such
far reaching , much revised/reworked effects used as excuses to do as
one pleases; to shirk responsibility, to do great wrong.

And I mean this of all people's not just one particular flavor.
