So I did some quick research on Presidental Pardons and the details are
interesting.
1. Scope. Biden can only pardon for crimes against the U.S. (except
Impeachment). It says nothing about crimes with in a state.
2. Timing. "A pardon can be issued at any time after the commission of the
offense..." So Biden can't issue a pardon until the crime has been committed.
This means that all those people asking for pardons **know** they have
committed crimes.
3. Acceptance: You can refuse a pardon. I post this only for completeness.
But here's probably the main things:
4. Limitations: The President cannot issue a pardon in anticipation of the
commission of an offense (Ex parte Garland, 1867). The pardon power is not
intended to be used as a means of dispensing with the laws or as a way to
benefit oneself or others (Ex parte Garland, 1867).
5. Criminal Contempts: The President has the power to pardon criminal
contempts, which are offenses committed against the dignity of the court and
the public interest (Ex parte Grossman, 1925). However, a pardon does not
affect civil contempts, which are remedial in nature and intended to benefit
the complainant (Ex parte Grossman, 1925).
I think both of these are applicable to the Biden Crime Family.
Especially the "as a way to benefit oneself or others". I think a good case
can be made that Hunter's pardon is invalid.
IJ> I think Adam Schiff said it correctly, though correct, he might not be
IJ> constitutional in his thinking. Adam said that Trump couldn't use the
IJ> pardon system to pardon his family and the like to conceal evidence and
IJ> avoid prosecution. Makes sense to me... but the constitution says what
IJ> is says.
Shifty Schiff is just doing the "Rules for thee, but not for me" thing that all
Elitists do. If Trump can't pardon his family, then neither can Biden.
IJ> I would argue that if Biden does all this they should impeach him while
IJ> he's out of office, evidence permits, like they did to Trump. Air all
IJ> this out to the public and make sure the history books understand the
IJ> level of corruption in his administration.
Once Biden leaves office, he can't be impeached - that's only for public
officials and once out of office, Biden is no longer a public official.
And I think the concept of Presidential Immunity is decided.
IHMO: Joe won't live long after he's out. They'll cut off his supply of meds
since he'll be useless to the Elitists and his dimensia will finish him off.
IJ> There might not be a legal conclusion but there definitely will be a
IJ> political one.
Certainly. The Democrat party is done. But the Left ruins everything it
touches.
IJ> I'm not sure they thought this all out. The talk seems to be that
IJ> Kamala was going to win and she was going to pardon Hunter... Welp...
IJ> that never happened... HAHAHA Funny AF!!!
Oh, it's hilarious how the Ignorant Elitists are reacting now that they are no
longer in power and the majority of the public is actively against them.
IJ> The problem of going too far down whatever Rabbit Hole you go. This
IJ> will be a future president that the democrats will use against future
IJ> non-Democrtat Presidents.
IJ> Biden is the legitimate President and he's the face of the Democratic
IJ> party!!!
IJ> Loving it!!!!
That's why I think the Democrat party is done.
IJ> One step at a time.
I think most of us want this to all just go away and we can go back to what was
normal 50 years ago. But no.
And we will never forgive the Democrats for doing this.
