Have you seen with Bart's PE (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/)?

While probably not quite as functional as Knoppix, it let's you boot and
run XP from a CD, much like Knoppix.  I use it to clean up infested systems
with ad/spyware cleaners and AV software.
