While bangin' around on the keyboard, Charles H muttered to Dave Amirault
about Surround Sound
CH> I can get the center channel (mono only) and stereo (left-right) to
CH> work but getting the rear speakers is harder.
 CH>
CH> You wrote to make just the rear speakers sound:
CH> 3) Get a RCA wire and split the wires, and reverse the two wires
CH> inside. Making the ends reverse polarity.
CH> Well, what do you mean? I took an RCA wire apart and only saw one
CH> wire. How can you switch them?
Every Audio wire has 2 leads (at least) a "hot" and a "ground".
Normally, the gound is the shield around the center conductor (which
is protected by a poly vinyl coating) and the "hot" lead is the one
that's inside the whole cable. Just like there are 2 leads for
Speaker Wires, there's 2 leads in an RCA Jack.
 CH> I will be awaiting a response.
Hope that helps a little.
