Understood that from docs I've read. AS I understand it this function
serves numerous ftn type networks. My only argument was that it is the best
way for users and sysops to find information on echoes that may be of
interest to them. I'm sure you've read the discussions there and my
comments.
So have others, so won't repeat them. HOwever, if you're interested advise
in a netmail and I'll summarize.

AS was said, thanks. Understand security must trump just about everything
else, and from what I"ve seen from your comments a few days ago, you
were wise to make a backup of the data. SAw quite a few updates this
morning in the echolist echo, and some apparent duplicates of some of them
as well.
