When I do make it available in archive form it will probably be available from 3:635/727 as 3:633/267 discontinued operation recently. > 2. Why did you go to the effort of writing this instead of ripping off > the code from MSGED? Back in the days when I used Turbo Pascal I used a library of Pascal source code called the "Technojocks Turbo Toolkit", and I wanted to provide my C programs with some of the video functionality I used to have with TTT. Actually from memory, some of the assembler and other code was stolen and adapted from the Msged code, so it wasn't written all from scratch. I wanted to avoid copying code verbatim from Msged though, as some of the code provided functionality (such as mouse support) that I have no immediate need for. Also, some of the VidMgr functions are not available in the Msged code, eg. text centering, box painting, etc. I don't think the small effort I put into writing VidMgr was wasted. :-) --- Msgedsq/2 3.30* Origin: This one HAS to be original X (3:635/727.4{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 635/309 503 544 727 640/230 690/718 711/401 410 413 430 SEEN-BY: 711/808 809 934 712/610 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 635/727 544 50/99 711/808 809 934 |
