I've had to deal with that here in Spokane. I have a deaf friend who
prefers to travel by Amtrack. He took a trip lasts summer down to
Tucson by way of Portland, San Diego and Phoenix. I think it took
something like four days, but he enjoyed the trip.
This year he took a 2 week trip to Boise by Southwest Airlines.
He came back with a stocking cap he said he had crocheted. Nice
Sounds like you'll be able to get alot of crafting done while on the
train. Hope you can keep enough out to keep you busy but still see the
sights. The trip from Seattle to Spokane I think is mostly in the dark
so you don't get to see the beautiful mountain passes and snow covered
mountains. Could be wrong, but last time I checked it was.
