subject: props

This has been a VERY expensive summer for me. I've had to buy FOUR
new props this year for my 28' Bayliner, all because I've hit
obstructions under water in the bay. At a cost of $550 EACH (it has
the Bravo II outdrive) I won't be able to afford my boat next year or
else I'll have to be content to sit at the dock! :)
My question is about other materials for props other than the standard
metals their are made of now from the dealer. Seems the slightest
"ding" in the blad causes the boat to vibrate.
Anyone know about stainless steel props? Advantages?
