YOu know, it's interesting, but I've crashed R. Hoffman
netmail asking him about criteria for joining familynet to
pick up a couple of echoes looked to be of interest.  Crash
mailed him direct, modem to modem.

NO reply.

sEnt email to him at his familynet address via email.

NO reply.

NOw as soon as echolist updates come in, we unzip 'em,
remove any line with the name "hoffman" in it, as they're
just wasted space and time.  HE doesn't do anything but take up a nodelist
entry in my copy of the nodelist, and his
echoes are listed in the echolist which is available to
others as you distribute it, but if I look through the file
I don't see anything elisted by BOb HOffman, unless I unpack the archive.

Even a "hey buddy we're not interested in pots only nodes or any new
nodes" for that matter would have been nice.
IN fact HOffman's familynet address bounced both times I
tried it too, and this was some months ago.
