Klahn learned that tactic from Sauer.  As you know, over the years, Sauer
made the ridiculous claim that Richard Helm, a retired Marine, had never
been in the service.  Finally, Ackley told Sauer that he had seen Richard's
ID card at my house and that he was, in fact, a retired Marine.

Sauer responded with a mealy mouthed "ok."  I don't think it took the idiot
more than 90 days to again claim that Richard had never been in the Marines.
