Would you rather have tornadoes?  The other night, during a basketball
game at the Atlanta dome, a tornado touched down and tore off parts of
the roof.  Fans scattered, leaving the dome as fast as they could.
The organizers had to move the other games to another arena, the dome
having holes in it and being deemed unsafe.

Basically, there are two views of history -

The Accidental View - events happen by accident rather than by design.
The Conspiratorial View - events happen by design, or unknown reasons.

Do these views reflect religion, as well as politics?  Is the rise
of the Antichrist an accident?  Or is it something by design?

The Roman government "washed its hands" after finding Jesus
innocent of all charges.  Pilate then turned Jesus over to an
angry mob, which executed Him.

If the Roman government represents a republic, and the angry mob
represents democracy, then how would a modern world react to the
second coming of what appears to be the Christ?

Maybe we will find out soon.  In 2012.  The Coming of Nibiru.
