DW>Let me know how many males are in the second group.
I got the results this afternoon (Friday)! It goes female, male, female,
male!
The couple who have bought the oldest male lost a well loved young AG to one
of the rope toys. My baby has a white toenail just like their lost
youngster. It was fate - they must have him.
One of the others will go to a very nice couple from south of Cleveland.
THey have an 11 old son who will be "part owner" of the baby. He has been
saving his money to buy the baby more toys. They took home a whole bag but,
of course, feel they need more - why not?!?!? The one who dies with the most
toys - wins! I would like them to wait as long as possible before choosing
their bird. I will have a much better idea of the personality later on.
I will be choosing a baby for a lovely lady in Kansas. I want the exactly
right baby goes to the right home. The babies should be weaned by
mid-September.
Diane..... I have a "left over"....
DW>Boy, have I missed your presence on the board. The knowledge as well
DW>as the knowing what is going on with you is sorely missed.
I am feeding 8 right now, editor of a new publication, involved in a new
bird club, not to mention all the things one must do to live in this world.
The babies' bedding gets washed and mommy's laundry is ready to go out on
strike. I have so little free time and the OJ Simpson trial gobbles up a lot
of it. I will try to be more active on the board. I don't know when the new
Eleanora babies will hatch. She snuck in an extra clutch on me. I never
dreamed she would lay before the latest clutch is even weaned. I have been
handfeeding SOMEone for 2 years now.
The older AGs (both Meggie's sisters) are real sweet babies. The oldest is
going to a nice man who bought one of the babies from a previous clutch. The
baby died from a blown-out blood vessel in the brain. She was only gone from
me 2 weeks. He was devastated as was I. The baby he is getting has what he
calls "racing stripes". She has red feathering on her legs and some shimmers
of red on her flights. What sweet ones...
DW>I never thought I would see the day he would give his food up. At dinner
DW>tonight he wanted to share his corn and I wouldnt let him as he had
DW>bitten off it and I told him she could not have it as she might get
DW>bugs. He didn't understand but got another piece and gave her the end
DW>that one. SPOILED by him, not. What do you think?
I think Marty is a prince and you are one very lucky woman. You have Marty
AND Meggie! What more could one wish for?
A special kiss for all - Marty, Meggie and you, dear Diane.
