RJT> It looked like a christmas tree! You mean the ones with the modualar many pin amplifier one for each channel, a lame 1 ampere transformer and 4001 1 ampere 50 volt rectifiers in the bridge along with an underated filter cap? Tuner, Amp and power supply 35 bucks max including the PC board and third world assembly. Case, 3 - 5 dollars with the rest going to the LEDS they hung all over the place. Then mark it up three hundred percent minimum :-( I've two of them here now, one hooked up to the PC and the other the T.V - VCR. Work fine unless you want to crank them up. The unit on the VCR has an external DC power jack... rated at 12 volts and 750 MA ;-) Both salvage as I don't pay for this sort of crap. Like Kenwood however, nice clean, quiet and crisp sound with zip for background noise. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: FONiX Info Systems * Berkshire UK * www.fonix.org (2:252/171) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 252/171 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
