How long, if ever, has it been since there were sharks in rural Michigan?
Pretty sure it has been a whole lot longer, if ever, than polio was seen
there.
The reason you have not seen polio in rural Michigan is because it was
erradicated. I have met people my parent's age and older who had it. I
don't know any my age because we all got vaccinated.
Don't worry. As the pool of vaccine and virus deniers grows, I am sure
polio will come back again someday... a lot sooner before sharks would.
