It occurred to me over the weekend, seeing the marches, that these peoples
intentions are entirely misplaced. Where was the march against the
terrorists? (I can hear the parrots already.)

I was thinking if Saddam was serious, he could easily offer means to open
Iraq to "unfettered" access. Let in the UN/US military forces en
masse to disarm and search; find a way to hand over the likes of Bin Laden
(I feel certain he has the contacts to make this happen); and give his
people freedom in the form of free elections.

He can show he means business if he wants to. He hasn't, he is seeing
support for his position and I'm sure evil is enjoying his winnings. For
now.
