not much in the way of Bardie good wishes can fix that, but perhaps a
few
spared towards Kees and his mom will help them get past it.
Wasn't entirely a surprise - he was diagnosed with prostrate cancer last
year, and had been declining quickly over the last couple of months -
but
still... it *is* always sort of unexpected that it's "now" and not
"soon."
He went far more peacefully than many though - he wasn't in much pain,
and
died in his own bed, while he was sleeping.
The funeral will be Monday.
