I too try to point people at it from time to time,  but many don't seem to 
want to pursue the use of it.
I see where it appears to be a bit inconsistent,  though.  I had a user the 
other night trying to tag "his" mail in a given echo with the "y" option on 
one of those menus,  and it didn't pack anything up,  because his lastread 
pointer was at the end of the area.  I'd have thought it should act that way 
when "new" was selected.
